No service order number

Called Nikon to see if they have a service order number for my camera. The service lady verified that FedEx delivered the camera to the service center but couldn't find any record of the camera after that. She took down the serial number and a problem description and forwarded it to service along with a rush order. She gave me a reference number and said that I should be getting an email update by tomorrow.
